Boom-Proof Your Pet

Boom Proof is back. This annual event helps our community prepare their pets for the Fourth of July, a time when loud fireworks often cause animals to panic or become lost. Our goal is to give families the tools they need to keep their pets safe, supported and calm during one of the busiest times of the year for shelters.

This year’s Boom Proof event will take place on Sunday, June 14 from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Jaycee Building.

At Boom Proof, pet owners can stop by for a variety of free services designed to make the holiday safer and less stressful for pets who may be sensitive to loud noises or who need a little extra support.

This year’s free services include:

• Microchipping

• Collars, leashes and ID tags

• Rabies and DAPP vaccinations

• Spay and neuter vouchers

• Dog toys and giveaways

• Pet food

We know how stressful the Fourth can be for animals, and Boom Proof is here to help reduce fear based behaviors and prevent lost pets. 🐶
