First Day Hike 2026

Come join us at the Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve for our First Day of the Year Hike! This hike on the High Trails will give us the opportunity to get out and see the upper elevations of the preserve.

After enjoying some coffee, cocoa, and snacks, we’ll head south from the pavilion on the Moonshine Trail. We’ll take the Whole Planet Trail to the Terry Trail for a walk up the hill. A loop on the Bulldog trail will bring the group around to catch the Terry Trail back down to the pavilion.
