December 5 – Alabama Winter Skies

Navigate your way through what's up in the winter in this live, guided tour of the night sky. Learn to find stars, constellations, planets, and other far out objects (such as nebulae and even galaxies) with imagery from telescopes like Hubble. A traditional planetarium experience with a modern kick of technology, take your newly acquired knowledge and explore the night sky from your own backyard.

December 12 – Black Holes

Imagine falling into a black hole. Sounds bad for starters. From supermassive black holes like Sagittarius A* to stellar mass black holes like Cygnus X-1, these astrophysical phenomena attract the attention of scientists and the public. Heavy conversation aside, get pulled in for Cocktails & Cosmos and a peak at what black holes are and how they work.

December 26 – Webb Anniversary

The furthermost reaches of the universe as revealed by the James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful telescope ever built. Join us as we explore through the last 3 years' worth of image highlights, from the first images released to our latest favorites. Witness the evolution of galaxies, the life cycle of stars, as well as strange and distant worlds!

To protect the experience for all guests, doors will lock at 7:15 P.M.

No late entries will be admitted after this point, and tickets may be forfeited without refund.

We recommend arriving early - doors open at 6:15.
