Overview
Not One More Alabama (NOMA) is hosting its 8th Annual End Addiction HSV Walk on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville.
This free community event offers a powerful opportunity for connection, healing, and hope. Whether grieving a loss, supporting a loved one in recovery, or celebrating personal milestones, the walk welcomes all who have been touched by the disease of addiction.
Keynote speaker is Katie Tidmore, a Huntsville native and rising singer/songwriter whose music is available on Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and YouTube. Her songs reflect a deeply personal journey through trauma, addiction, love, and healing - offered with the hope of helping others find strength in their own battles.
A hallmark of the event is the Memorial Wall, where families place photos and messages in remembrance of loved ones lost to addiction. Others walk as teams to honor someone they’ve lost, support a friend in recovery, or learn more about available treatment and recovery resources.
